Компания Riot Games раскрыла некоторые детали двух международных турниров по League of Legends в 2025 году. Информация о Mid-Season Invitational 2025 и 2025 World Championship появилась на официальном сайте LoLEsports.
В MSI 2025 поучаствуют десять команд вместо 12,Меньшекомандибез по две из каждого региона. Все матчи будут сыграны в формате best-of-5 с 27 июня по 12 июля. Стадия Play-In будет включать матчи среди четырех коллективов — два лучших проходят в плей-офф. Остальные шесть участников, включая одного победителя First Stand 2025, начинают MSI сразу с плей-офф, который пройдет с сеткой double-elimination. Победитель MSI получит гарантированный инвайт на чемпионат мира (если пройдет в плей-офф своей лиги), а регион, чья команда заняла второе место, получит дополнительный слот на Worlds 2025.
