fnatic are the first finalist at WCG 2009 following a relaxed 2-0 victory over mTw.

It was expected to be a close match but it ended up being almost a walk in the park for fnatic as they made light work out of the Danish side in a 2-0 win.

A lively start from fnatic on de_nuke saw the Swedish team cruise to a 13-2 score at half time, with Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund amassing an impressive 26 frags.

The first-half score-line surely affected mTw, who were mere spectators as fnatic claimed the three rounds they needed without too much trouble.

On de_inferno, fnatic began better once again, but an ace round by Martin "trace" Heldt cooled things down. mTw were unable to impose their game, and most of their rounds were coming by mainly due to individual moves rather than team play, but they managed to change sides when down by just one round.

In the second half, Alesund pulled off another world-class display as he guided fnatic to an 8-1 result to give his team a 16-8 win.

fnatic are now through to the WCG Grand Final, where they will meet the winner of the match between AGAiN and CMAX.gg.
